Default Trany cooler lines

Is there any special procedure, or special tools needed to change the tranny cooler lines on an 04 SLE? I got the new lines, I ran out of daylight yesterday before I could get them on. The CHilton I have just says to "remove the lines"... How hard are the connectors to take off and put on?

It'* a good idea to use a special wrench for that. Looks like a box end wrench with a slot cut out. That way you don't damage the fittings. They may be stuck to a little penetrating oil my be needed to loosen them up.

Like a line wrench? There are no threaded fasteners, just some type of quick connect on each end of the pipe. There is a flat round spring type retainer on each end also.

Sorry, not familiar with that kind of connection. I'm guessing you will need a special tool for that, otherwise it'* going to be a pain to do.

Thanks anyway, I'm not complaining! You have already been a huge help with my other projects.

Any chance you can post a picture of the connection? I'll try to swing by autozone today and see if they have a tool for that.
