Default True dual exhaust???

I know there are a number of other exhaust threads, but I haven't seen anything about having a completely dual exhaust from the headers all the way back to the tips. Is it cost prohibitive...do you lose performance....does the rumble get too loud inside? I was thinking I'd like to do this when the time comes...what do you guys think?

there would be no benefit to making a true dual exhaust.. a good aftermarket catback, high flow cat and headers will flow well enough for anything you would ever need.. it would be rediculous IMO to make a true dual exhaust, especially because of the astronomical cost and space limitations... remember, the two ehaust manifolds come together up in the engine bay just to the left rear side of the rear cylinder head... not like older RWDs where they came together underneath the car

the FASTEST bonnes are running stock piping and mufflers...there is no reason to do a true dual not to mention the fact that the engins sits transverse

excellent points guys. I was thinking back to my days with my 89 TA which I'm pretty sure had a true dual exhaust. Sounds like I don't need to do it though. Thanks for the input!

The third generation f-body did not have true dual exhaust.

LOL, I took that baby off road and ending up having to replace 3/4 of the exhaust. A buddy of mine was working at a muffler shop at the time and I think...think...he put on a true dual for me....it'* been years though and the paperwork is long gone.
