Default Window problem.

Hello I have a 2000 bonneville sse. I am having a problem with my passenger side front window. The window stopped working about a month ago and suddenly tonight I accidentally hit the switch and it worked fine after checking again the window will not go back up. you can hear the motor running and I can pull the window almost halfway up by hand then it stops it will go down but not up and you can hear the motor running.I took the panel off checked all the wiring and made sure it was on track and everything seemen fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does the windows move slow when it does move?
Is there any grinding?
Does it stop abruptly or does just slowly quit moving?

While you have that panel off, I would throw some grease on the track.

Your window regulator went out. Mine just went out on the left passenger.

You can order a new regulator from GM. They run about $220 and they are not that difficult to replace. The GM regulator includes the motor. I replaced mine in about 20 minutes.

$50 on ebay will get a new one with motor as well. I've had an ebay one in my left, rear door for a little over a year now and I've never had a problem with it
