Default AutoTap USB just Arrived!

Last weekend I did pretty good at the Craps tables down in Atlantic City while I was there for a bachelor party for a friend. So with my winnings (part of them) I decided to buy an Autotap USB with the enhanced GM listing.

Now I'm being alittle lazy and it'* hot out right now... Anyone that has an Autotap and has a pretty good config already set up, could you please email it to me?

Also, when I plugged my Autotap into my bonnie, I got a:
Code:
DTC U1040 Loss Of EBCM/EBTCM Communications
Is this anything to worry about or should I just clear it and forget about it...

The car is under warranty which is why I didn't spend the money on a smaller pulley or something performance oriented. I also do ALOT of repairs on friends and families GM vehicles and this will come in VERY handy.

Also (again for those of you that have an AutoTap), is there a way to step up the refresh rate of the data or is that limited by the car communications?... I didn't see any option to do that while I was down there playing around...

TIA

Is your ABS and Traction Control working ok? If so, it'* a history code. OR a bug.

Well, every once in a while, when I first start the car, the 'trac off' light will be on. If the trac button is pushed, nothing happens. If the car is turned off and restarted, everything returns to normal. I have had it to the dealership with this problem, but they just came back saying that they could not duplicate the problem so there is no problem... I realize now, after doing some investigation, that this is related to what I have been experiencing with the 'trac off' problem, but don't know of any solutions...

Who else has an autotap? I just spent some time earlier today making up a console. I originally couldn't make one because I didn't have a config saved so I thought that I had to do all of it out in the car. I also just rescued an old laptop (Dell Latitude CPi D300XT) from the dumpster at my wife'* work and the thing works great. Had to reinstall Win2k, but it runs flawlessly so far and it works better than expected for internet and AutoTap software. Plus the thing gets 4.5 hours worth of battery time when run on the battery from my Inspiron 8200 (which can only get 1.5 hours on the same battery). Now I don't have to worry about damaging my good laptop while working on my vehicles.
