Who carries the L-67 BCA? DYING TO FEEL FULL BOOST
Okay I think I have the problem on my 2000 SSEI narrowed down to the boost control actuator.
I looked at Rock Auot and Napa etc etc with no luck. I heard they were around $20 or $30 but I will be danged if I can find one.
I'd even settle for a decent used one if someone wants to hook a newbie guy up.
BCS has full travel when pulling vac line and haven't found any vac line leaks.
I still have many other error codes (15!!!) but it runs good BUT still have never felt full boost and it is driving me crazy. Need something (other than bills and the freakin economy to "pin me back for a wild ride")
Thanks for any help guys.

If the BCA has full unrestricted travel and if you attach a vacuum tester to it and its fine, then its not your BCA...
It would probably be more helpful to know what those 15 codes are. Even a simple misfire can make the PCM pull back on the fuel under WOT and even vent off the BCA to prevent damage. So lets start there first please.

The unit with the arm is what I am calling the boost control solenoid and the electrical part below I thought was the BCA. Again still a newbie so trying to absorb this all correctly.
Ok you asked for it here is THE LIST (need some mad scientist laughter in here after that ha ha)
C1214 system relay contact or coil circuit open
C1234 drivers rear wheel speed sensor
C1241 magna steer malfubnction
C1245 Low "something"
C1248 DRP disabled?
C1282 Body Roll brake sensor
C1283 Center malfunct
C1285 latteral accel out of range
C1287 Steering sensor
C1295 Brake switch open
C1298 PCM malfunction (oh oooooh)
U 1255 loss of class 2 communications (?)
PO243 Turbo waste gate solenoid (yep like you said solenoid)
P0404 EGR vale
P1122 TPS sensor
Thanks for any help on these guys. This is just what I wrote down from the Advanced Auot guys OBD II

But I do agree with Mike about understanding all your codes before you shell out $35. List the codes for us.

I think the error code for a bad rear wheel speed sensor is key to a lot of the codes you are seeing. C1234 is actually a left rear wheel sensor issue. Get access to it and check resistance across the connector.
