Default White puff from tailpipes when I floor it - Is this normal?

Hi guys, I'd appreciate your opinions, I wanted to get away from a tailgater this morning and noticed a quick white puff out of the tailpipes when I floored the accelerator, it disappeared almost immediately, in fact the only reason I saw it was because I happened to be looking in my mirror at the tailgater'* headlights that were right on my bumper, seems pretty minor but I wonder is this normal?
