fog lamp switch disable
Hi all, new here! I have a 2004 Bonneville and it is annoying if the fog lamps get switched on at night the car remembers that and then they stay on on broad daylight! I traded a 2000 Grand Prix for this new last year. On my GP the fog lamps came on automatically with the headlamps at night if switched on, but went off with the automatic headlamps. Any suggestions? Thanks.

simple solution, push the fog light button!
Whenever you have the fogs turned on, they will be on (except when high beams are on). During the day and when driving down the road, this will turn on your park lights, headlights, as well as the fogs. To turn the fogs off when the ignition is on, simply push the fog button.
Personally, I run with the fogs on at all times because I like how it looks and makes the car more visable. Plus I don't have to worry about turning on my lights when it gets foggy or alittle snowy in the daytime (DRL'* don't count for this because you still don't have parking lights on with DRL'*).

I did some serious research in the service manual, well all the switching is controlled through the DIM & the BCM. If anyone knows a way to bypass this somehow, post it here please! Thanks.

PARTSMNGER, as far as having them come on with your head lights only at night... re-wire them to your headlights... as far as DRL(Day time running lights) not sure if we can disconnect them
