ticking / rattling noise under acceleration / cold start
I have a ticking noise during cold start. It is really hard to pin point but it seems to be coming from the rear of the engine almost like at the exhaust manifold. I can hear it pretty well under the car, and if i put put my head at the rear of the car. it goes away when the car warms up a little roughly about the same time the sucking sound from intake as a result of the gutted airbox. Not sure if these sounds are even related but under light / moderate acceleration I will hear ticking once more. I don't really hear it under very light accel unless the my boost reading is between -5 and 0. Under moderate acceleration I will have a rattle almost like a rattling heat shield on a muffler, or small rocks rattling on metal. It'* really hard to hear these noises once the blower whines. Not sure they exist anymore with the blower whine. In neutral when I race the engine I don't hear any of these noises. Engine sounds normal apart from what I think are noisy injectors (only noticeable with hood up). another question I had is are the injectors supposed to be semi noisy ? Thanks in advance.

Your almost describing the sounds a supercharger makes when the coupler is going bad. Remove the belt from the supercharger and start the car and see if you can duplicate the noise. Yes, you can safely remove the belt. Someone here once noticed his belt had been off for a long time and it didn't harm anything. Except maybe left a few extra dollars in his wallet LOL.
