I have a little problem getting out the bolt that holds the crank pulley it is very hard i i cant get it out is there any trick on getting this #%!& out

Long extension(*) out through the wheel opening with a breaker bar(and a piece of pipe if needed). First you need to wedge a pry bar up against the torque convertor to stop the engine from turning.

Default AAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the bolt came out but now the pulley is giving me problems to come out wasnt it supose to come out by hand or there is some trick to get it out


has always any help will be greatly appreciated

you need a harmonic balancer puller to get it off. you should be able to rent one at the local parts store.




don't use the supplied bolts though, you need to pick up some 6mm diameter x 70mm length x 1.0 pitch (1.0 thread per mm). you will also need washers to fit the HB puller.

You will need to put something in the hole that the crank bolt came out of so the puller has something to push against other than the pully. I use a 3/8 bolt about 2 inches long for that. As long as you know you need something in there you will see the problem.
