my leak
i thought i'd share. i have a 2000 SSEI -- somehow my sunroof came off its track and doesn't close all the way anymore. i found that when it rains, the water will get into the roof (no suprise there) and make its way down to the trunk. after a few rainshowers, everything seemed okay.. but eventually when i would come to a stop i would hear 'slosh slosh' -- so i knew water was somewhere. eventually i found out that the spare tire well was full of water. trunk carpet was soaked, and the battery compartment underneath the rear seat was full of water.
my car has 130k miles on it and i didnt feel it worth the cost to have the sunroof fixed. I fixed it with massive amounts of clear latex caulking from home depot.
