Urgent help please~ brakes
Ok, so a routine rotor swap has turned into a odd issue that I need to correct in order to drive home.

I had trouble compressing the caliper piston while the caliper was attached to the car. I remove it, slap it on a vise, retract piston. done. put it back on the bracket, install the banjo bolt for the brake line and I'm still pouring brake fluid.all over the place. Did I miss something with the reinstallation?
I've got both gasket looking things on either side of the brake line. is there an alignment key that I'm missing?
here is ho I have the brake line/gaskets/bolt
{ = gasket
[]= brake line
--- { [] } --+
THANK YOU!

My first thought, If it took that much force to retract the piston there might have been just enough dirt and debris to interfere and this can cause the piston o-ring to be damaged and leak. I know you can buy the "loaded" calipers now. Brake pads already installed so you switch out the entire caliper and take no chance in damaging o-rings or gaskets. Hope I am making sense and good luck.

ok, it turns out that I was an idiot. When I bolted the brake line back on, I flipped it. It wasn't sitting flush due to the brake hose connection. It was about a millimeter off from being flush causing the fluid to dump.
EDIT: and the difficulty with the piston compression was due to lack of proper tools. I failed to bring my piston compressor and we didn't have a C-clamp large enough.
