Default Single or dual exhaust

My SE has the single 2.25" exhaust. I replaced the stock muffler with a 2.25" stainless Magnaflow muffler and tip last month. What size pipe and muffler is on the dual SSEI and SLE setup? I'm thinking about getting a stock replacement dual SSEI system from Monro with Borla tips but the Monro guy said my Magnaflow muffler and the stock 2.25" single exhaust outflows the stock dual setup as well as expels the hot exhaust gasses quicker. He also added that the dual system will just add dead weight to the car. Is this true?

We've had a few members here make the dual conversion. Mremer, AdBear are a few that relate how the performance has helped. No one has indicated a loss in power but have said the increase in flow has helped with performance?

It'll only flow better if they don't run it in circles.. or do some stupid thing.

I have the speedtracer software from Autoenginuity, I already "dyno"ed before the install of the Jet PCM and the Dual exhaust. Since I can turn the Jet off I plan on getting some numbers soon as well as video/audio of before and after uploaded. If it is'nt quicker, it at least sounds like it has a pair now, and it looks fantastic how the rear is balanced now.

Tru dual? No. Your exhaust isn't left/right. It'* front/rear. That'll be prohibitively expensive.

Keep in mind that some of our quickest 2000'* here have headers and hi-flow components (cat), and in some cases, stock mufflers.
