Default Moonroof question

I'm interested in a 2000 Bonneville, but the only problem is that the whole moonroof assembly is out of the car and in a repair shop. I can't find any repair parts for this on line. I don't know if the assembly can be bolted back in and just left closed. I'd have a great car for the money if I could repair the roof.

Thank You
Kevin

You have this posted in the wrong section; you would probably get a lot more help if you post it under the appropriate section.
I don’t have an exact answer to your question but if you want a motor for sunroof or any other Bonneville/3800 parts, your best bet is to contact Morad Parts Company. They have almost everything when it comes to Bonnevilles or any 3800 motor vehicle.

Thank'*, I also found that site for parts and they have nice selection.

http://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/cto/1939581760.html

I found this car on Craigslist and I was thinking about buying it. From the sounds of things, it doesn't have the moonroof installed or even a roof liner. The guy said that the parts are at a shop( or the junk yard where he must have gotten the car) and I don't think that there'* any way for him to get the old parts for me. I'm going to take a look at the car to see if the guy is legit or just looking to get ride of a problem car. I don't plan to buy the car if he can't come up with the old parts or if I can't get the roof liner from where he got the car. I can find the used moonroof now, but I'm not looking to buy a new roof liner. A new roof liner was about $500.

I would need to buy a car cover for this car, because I don't have a garage to store it.
