Car'* behavior without door control module- headlights blink?!
I am in the process of replacing rear window regulators, so the car currently has no door control module in the rear passenger door. When attempting to drive it, I get the expected "Door open" chime, but also the headlights start to blink almost like on a police car. Is that normal or did I mess something else up?

No shorts- that was definitely the car'* reaction to the absence of the door control module. Plugged it back in and all is good

I so want to wire a switch on this module and make my headlights blink. ..... Never mind, I know it'll cause trouble.
Glad to hear you figured it out.
