ok still having trouble
i took her out today(been driving my white car) and I have more details of the noises i'm hearing. Case you dont' know, my car has a tranny problem. When I speed up from a stop I can hear a faint turbine spool-up sound from the tranny. When I let off the gas I sometimes hear a turbine spool-down sound. When at speed I will hear a humming sound from the tranny every once in a while. And when she'* in park or neutral i can kind of hear a sound like those pod racer things made in that star wars movie. It'* like an indie car pitch but its on and of really fast like a lawn-mower engine. I have 28,750 miles and I doubt the fluid has been changed. When idling at operating temp the fluid is a little over the "max operating level" and it is a clearish red. It doesn't quite smell raunchy but it does kindof stink.
If anybody knows anything about whats going on with my car I would really appreciate it.

The only advice I can give you really, is to take it to a reputable transmission service or a GM dealer to have an evaluation. Maybe a good transmission flush is all it needs.
