2002 SSEi DRL'* please go away
Does anybody know how to turn off the DRL'* on a 2002 SSEi without affecting anything else. I already removed the fuse but now my drivers side bright light won't come on?

Good deal! I have seen some people questioning if it was in the air box to keep it from being subjected to weather and some saying it was to keep it cool so I was unsure. This is a great web site, very usefull already!

Remove the DRL relay (30) in the Underhood Fuse Block. Fabricate a jumper (at least #16 AWG) to jumper across terminals 30 & 87a in the socket that was vacated by the DRL relay. This will prevent DRL'* from coming on. It will also disable the DRL function of the Perimeter lighting feature. I thought this was in the TECHINFO, but did not see it. This procedure applies to the 2000+ Bonnevilles. It should not affect the fog lights.
