Default Engine questions

Good morning all,

I have been reading here a while and I am curious about something. I have been seeing a lot of stuff about L32 and L67 and such (I'm sure the numbers are wrong, forgive me), and I assume that these are types of engines. How do I know which one I have? I know it is a 3.8 V6 NA, but that'* it. Also, are these engines the 60 or 90 degree V6?

Thanks,
Jeff

You have the L36. Series 2, normally aspirated. It is a 90° V6 with a balance shaft.

Under Techinfo (click on the link in the grey bar under BonnevilleClub), there is a section that will help you learn/understand the various engine information.

Here is the direct link.

Right, tech info...sorry about that. I have spent the last 4 days reading the audio/electronics forum. I just finished with the last post yesterday. I learned a lot, and still have soooo many categories to read.

Gotta go...thanks for the info

No need to be sorry......I am gald you asked......it is a good question. I only mentioned techinfo so you could continue to learn even more about the engines and other interesting (if you're a Bonnevillle nut) information.
