Default rain inside my car again!!

We've had downpours here in NJ. Once again I went inside my car and the passenger side was flooded. Second time now. The first time I took it to the dealer under warranty and they "repaired" the leak. That time it was both passenger and driver side. Well this time I'm going to an auto body shop. I feel they are best qualified to deal with this. Get it repaired right once and for all. Does anybody have any idea how much this might cost me?

its possible the water deflectors in the doors came undone at the bottom...does the bottom of the door look wet too?

00+ with a water problem.

Skip the body shop. How would you like to save that money and fix it for free.

Hang in a minute and the 00+ guys will be here to help.

Most 00+'* leak around the trunk seal or the door seals at the vapor barrier.

It'* really hard to tell where it'* leaking from. The door step(or whatever it'* called) is wet. Going to have to take a garden hose and see where it'* leaking from. I'm really tired of this.

I agree with Boosty. Why take it in when it'* something you can fix yourself. Here'* the procedure for removing the door panel.

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=50082

Once the door panel is off, you'll see a dark grey or black plastic panel, which is the water deflector. It'* job is to keep water that enters the door from entering the car. Around the outside of that is a sticky rubber seal. That is what generally causes the problem. It comes loose on the bottom. If it'* in good shape, sometimes just pressing it back on with do it (dry things well first). However, as you've had this problem before, head off to the dealer and pick up a tube of sealant for it.

From your description, that or the weatherstripping (which has not been much of a problem yet for the 2000+) is your problem.

Mike, if your door step is wet, chances are its the Water deflector. I just went through this myself and have some pictures to share: http://www.focaltechinc.com/josh/bon...r_leak_fix.pdf (1.6MB, Adobe Acrobat)

Its not difficult to pop the door panel off and see if that'* the problem. Or, Hose the window on the outside with the door open and see if water comes out the bottom of the plastic door panel anywhere.

I have a leaky trunk (supposedly fixed twice now) and water streaks running down the inside of my front windshield after it rains.

I'll help you out but you shouldn't hi-jack someone elses thread. Open your sunroof and look around the corners for debris. Generally leaves get into the drains that run towards the trunk. Since you have water running down the front windshield i'm gonna guess that it is the plugged drain tubes causing your head liner to hold water.

Do you have a sunroof? I had a flood (approx 5 inches) on the passenger side only. It turns out that the sunroof drain has two seperate pieces and the lower one had fell off. All the rain caught in the channel ran right down into my passenger floor.
