Bad Catalytic Converter?
Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my 2000 SE that I'm at wits end trying to solve. About a week ago I was driving home from work when I noticed a rough idle at a stop light. As I neared home the engine began to chug and buck when I would give it gas. Over the next couple of days the symptoms became more pronounced, and the engine has now taken to dying after it is warm when accelerating from a stop.
My father and I hooked the car to the scanner and NO codes were present. The only thing that was of interest is the O2 sensors were not adjusting from rich to lean very quickly. We also noticed a faint smell of rotten eggs after taking the car out on a diagnostic drive.
We are now leaning toward a bad Cat, but is there anything else that it could be, especially with no codes present, and no misfires being recorded?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and insight.

X2.... Be careful with going for aftermarket CAT'*, especially Hi-Flows. Saw recommended a Hi Flow Cat that so far doesn't throw a DTC and SES light. That'* te one I'm running with and I had it welded in place.
