Mirror Guard or Ebay window regulator
Had the failure of the right rear window regulator that chewed up the cable when it failed. Read the threads and it seemed pulling the defective regulator and sending it to Mirror Guard was the thing to do. Checked Ebay and there is a high volume company that sells new knock off for less than the rebuilt. The feedback on the knock offs seems solid. Now the decision, pull the car apart twice for the Mirror Guard quality of the knock off and save $40 plus only take the door apart once. Any thoughts?

IMO - Pull the door apart once. You don't really use the mirror adjustment that much to worry about a failure of a 'knock off', and some of the plastic pins on the interior body panels can break easily the more you fiddle with them.
