Haro, the first couple of regulators that I worked on had cables and pulleys that looked much worse than those, and they still worked ok. It will take a bit more muscle to get it all back together because you'll be fighting those kinks in the cable, along with the spring tension. It should work fine, however. The plastic around the spring on the bottom of the sled looks good. I can't tell from the picture how much of the plastic is still there when the cable pulled through the top. If most of it is still there, even if cracked, you're good to go. If you have a hole there, you may want to add a split washer between the cable anchor and the new bracket.

If no one has an old one laying around to help out with your missing parts, you may have to hit a junkyard for one. They may question your sanity on taking a broken one...but maybe then they'll give you a good deal.

I believed all of the 2000+ Bonnevilles, regardless of trim level used the same one. There are likely other makes that use the same one. I'd have to do some investigation to find out which ones.

Hit up GMPD or equivlent and find the part number. Then search the part number and it will show you all applications.

(told ya it wasn't so bad... but you were too busy making fun of the Idaho thread)
