Default Sunroof Glass question?

Sunroof glass gasket ripped. Can one get a new gasket that goes around the roof glass, or does one have to purchase the entire glass? If so, does anyone have a roof glass for sale for a 2000 SSEi? Thanks!

Mine got a small tear. Dealer said I have to buy the whole glass. After hearing the price, I decided to just fix it with glue.

Try a wrecking yard, dealer wanted about $600 , I got one at the yard for $250 and that was the whole frame and motor and all. There are a few makes that will work.Mine was from a regal or something.

Get ahold of Ed Morad, he will have a seal I'll bet

Lots of $99 grand prix sunroofs complete but dead. Seals and track might still be good?
Ask Ed if a bonne and a gp are the same size?

The sunroof seal glass for the 92-99 is one piece, and is NOT something you'd buy the glass for. GMPD shows them as one piece which doesn't make sense.

Edit. Found yet another weak point with GMPD. RockAuto didn't have it either.

But www.gmpartscheap.com does.

If you search in BODY parts for your car, then select roof, then sunroof, it'* listed as 'weatherstrip', item 6 in th illustration.

You'll have to ask them for the price. Since GMPD wants 50-something for the glass AND weatherstrip (it might be no glass, not sure), this can't be much.
