Intermediate shaft
I read the thread about it being a TSB, but are we going to push for a recall? If we are, let'* put a fire under it. If not, I guess we'll just "get the shaft".
Get it? "Get the shaft". Get it?

No, she hasn't.
I just talked with the service manager at the dealership here, and he said that GM is no longer just lubing the shaft, but has actually issued an updated shaft to replace it. So he suggested that I call the service number in the user manual, tell them that I spoke with him and that obviously GM knows that it'* a trouble piece, and demand that they pay for it. They will give me a trouble code, then call him about it, and go from there.
I would suggest that everyone that has a '00+ Bonnie do this. Then maybe they will issue the recall, or at the very least pay for it.
