pulling steering wheel on 00 bonnie
i have done this on other vehicles and it was NOT hard...
basically it comes down to, there are no threaded holes on the wheel to pull from, and there is no way to get a nut behind the hole.. i tired with some large bolts to grip the sides of the aluminum... it just stripped out once i put pressure on it..
im checking the all data right now, but any help is appreciated

can you put a nut on the back side of the steering wheel? If you can, you could always put 2 nuts per bolt, one infront and one behind the steering wheel to get the grip. This is assuming you can put a bolt on both sides.

im sorry lowrider, i take that back.. you were exactly right..
after finding some really small nuts and bolts, i played some pinko, about 50 times, with a magnetic screwdriver in the hole... it worked like a charm
there is no way that is the correct way to do it, so if anyone knows the correcy way i would be interested to know

I don't know if you found what you were looking for at alldata, but checking there it showed to do it about the way that you did. The difference was this:
* Tools Required
* J42578 Steering Wheel Puller Legs
* J1859-A Steering Wheel Puller
The diagram wasn't helpful, but it showed to do it like you did.
