Default Heater / AC controls

Ok, so i have been putting it off long enough, and i need to replace my climate control module.
So i pulled mine out and wrote down the apparent part # on the unit as 25721440
IO can not find this number anywhere, and GM parts direct lists 4 different units all with different part numbers..
Anyone that can help me with this would be appreciated.. I have the plain Dual Knobby style, single zone manual system
as you can see here, some of the lights dont work

From GMPartsDirect.com there are only 2 p/n'* for the AC/Heater Control Module... (found in the 'Interior Electrical' - 'Instrument Panel')
w/ Aux Control = 16236032
w/o Aux Control = 25732792

I can verify through AllDataDIY.com that the manual climate control module is p/n 25732792. However, AllDataDIY.com has the w/ Aux Control p/n as 9391122 and the p/n listed above from GMPartsDirect.com does not work when a search is performed.

Your reference to a part number from your unit might be a superceded p/n. The 3 listings on GMPartsDirect.com for the w/o Aux Control unit show for '00, '01-'03, and '04-'05 (the reason for the separate listings maybe) and it looks very much like they made some changes to the module over the past couple of years.

But, before you go buying this from GMPartsDirect.com, please verify the p/n with your local dealership first so you won't be left with an unusable part. Just call up the dealership and act like you own a repair shop and someone ordered a part, but you want to make sure that it is the right one. List off the part number and the info on your car and see what they say. Works everytime!
