Brake pad material
Need to replace the rear pads on my Bonnie. There'* an option to buy ceramic lined pads or semi metallic. Is the ceramic worth the extra money? Is there a noticeable difference in braking performance or wear with ceramic?

Definite change in breaking power as well. They say it wears the rotors more rapidly, but I found the rotors stay much "truer" over time than with organic pads. They are worth the money and if rotor like is less, still worth it. Where are you from J? I remember you from like a year ago, haven't see you around for some time.

My thanks to those who replied, it'* good info. I was born and raised in CO but have been living in WA state for the last couple years. Haven't been on the forum for awhile, just busy with work and raising a family.

YW J. I see you work at Boeing. Know our member Purple. He works there. Guess I wondered because he used Bill the Cat in his early days here. Bill'* kinda a fave of mine. Seems to be alot of members here that come in from Boeing. Must be the talk of the complex by the look of our logs.

I had Ceramic Pads on my Alero... they work great but i did notice a change in peddle feel. The peddle action changed to a much stiffer and less peddle travel. Maybe thats not normal tho. not sure
