Default Gauges going bezerk!

I need some help. My 04 SLE has been giving me fits with the gauges. A while back, the temp gauge started acting up. It would start out in the 200 deg. range, and move right as the engine warmed up, way past the red. Eventually the gauge would be operating in the gear indicator numbers! I replaced the sensor, disconnected the neg. cable, and it worked ok for about a day. Last week the fuel gauge started acting up, sometimes on E sometimes of F never consistent, even with a full tank. Today my wife called me, she was driving in town at about 30 35 mph and the speedo said she was going 120! I have checked the ground buss, can see no visible corrosion. What are some fixes, options or suggestions for this? ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
