No Dice, I actually tried a few different ignition relays also. The only thing that seems to shut them off it to remove the ignition fuse under the seat or disconnect the battery. I also just want to make clear, I am not talking about the fog lamps. I am talking about all the red/yellow running lights, and dash lights.. These are the kind of things that end up cost losts of cash to take to a dealer.. urrrgg...

OK - so we're talking the marker lamps, not DRL...and the tail lights? Check on the left stalk on the steering column and see if maybe it somehow accidentally got turned on to the parking lamps. If not, you may have a defective switch. I'll be offline until later tonight. If no one else picks this up, I'll look over the schematics to see what else to check and report back then.

I have had this car for over a year, and never even realized that switch was there. Never used it, never realized what it did.. I feel like a real idiot.. But Thanks... I must of bumped it when I set the cruz last night driving home..

Do I need to close this post?

I appriciate the comment, and belive me, had I realized that switch was there, i would have checked it. This is actually my wife'* car, and I don't drive it that often. Not that I am making excuses...

Nothing to be embarrassed about as far as I'm concerned. Dealing with an unfamiliar vehicle, you can run into all kinds of surprises, and how to turn on the lights can be a big one....except yours was the other way around. I'm glad to hear that was all that it was. Now, you can return to your regularly scheduled worries.

Thanks again Archon. Till next time... Say, do I need to close this thread, or give you credit for resolving my issue, so you can keep collecting all those stars under your name.

I don't know why the SLE woudn't have this option, but our cars will shut off all electrical stuff after 10 minutes of the car being shut off. So if you accidentally left your car lights on or your dome lights, they would all be shut off after 10 minutes. It'* a great battery-saving feature of our cars.

Nope, no need to close this thread out, it will die by itself.
As for the stars...6 is what I get for being a gearhead, no more - no less. We get to have the pretty purple ones, though.
