Spoiler Installation
Got my spoiler in today and am curious as to the best method to locate and drill the holes (going on a non-spoiler SE.) Could someone peel back their trunk lid upholstery and snap a picture of their spoiler studs? I didn't notice any areas that really stuck out as to where I would drill. I'm wondering if there is a template available from GM.
Thanks,
Mark

I'll give the Pontiac dealer up the street a shout in the morning about a template. I'm sure they'd charge an arm and a leg to install it. They finally sold both of their remaining '05 GXP'* by the way. Grey and maroon.

Well, I can't get a template from GM for the spoiler. I've seen "t-strips" that come with some spoilers for drill guides but am having trouble locating the t-strips separately. I may make my own. Basically, they transfer the location of the spoiler studs onto the decklid. Going to have to think about this one. :?
A body shop wouldn't have any better way to do it either I'm guessing. I'd rather not pay for someone to use the exact method I'm going to use anyways.
If anyone has any suggestions, lay 'em on me.
