replaced blower resistor
ok i replaced my blower resistor after it went out 2 yrs ago.. the fan has been run direct for thoes two years. i fixed it it didnt work... found out the fuse blew i replaced the fuse and it worked!!!
then while driving later that night fan began to kick off and back on and then nothing.
checked the fuse blown again replaced the fuse worked fine then did it again this time fuse didnt blow... pulled fuse n put back it began working again
it did it once more and i unplugged fan motor and plugged it back in without touching the fuse and it began to work.
why am i having issues with my heating system??????
every year i replace fan 2-3 times. the dual climate unit has been replaced 2 times total and the blower resistor 5 times total.

yea may be
but i have no clue where tho ive been all thru the wiring down there havent found anything.
get this its never blown a fuse tho... and i have a 20a fuse instead of 30a. i was hopeing it blow fuse before it fried the blower resistor again.
either the resistor is going bad or the com link frm the dash unit to comp to blower resistor is shorting somewhere i cannot find it
without that com signal the comp wont turn on the relays

Have you checked the contacts on the blower motor connector for burned, heated contacts?
Have you checked at the resistor connector for burned contacts?
