coolant leak
I am using about 1 bottle of premix coolant every other week and I see a small puddle of red coolant where the intake bolts to the head/block. I have read the sticky on LIM gasket changing, however I was wondering how hard it is to do yourself or if I should have it done. Does anybody have a parts list and pics of the procedure, and anything eles it could be? Thanks

Many find it quite easy, even as a first mechanical fix.
Please search for the parts list and costs. It is around here many times. Figure ~$250-300

Thanks for the info. I have found the part number for the gasket, but does anyone know where to get the plastic intake, is it worth changing?

I am going to get the "new and improved" upper intake. My Mech. says he will charge me 200 if I get the parts, so I think I will let him do this considering I have 2 jobs and work on weekends too. thanks for the info

the only improved intake is the APN like boosty said because of the steel sleeve and i think its about 70$ in youre area .don't forget you need to change both the UIM and the LIM gasket
