Default Removing dash trim piece

I searched...perhaps not well enough. Because I can't find how to remove the plastic panel on the 2000+ dash, the one around the radio/AC, etc. There are two clips above the gauge cluster but they don't look to be to "friendly." How do I remove those clips without breaking something? Thanks!

Press firmly in the centre. The core will pop up towards the windshield. The can then be removed. Once you have them out, you'll see how the work for re-install. You'll need to pop that core down so it is below the outer part of the plastic rivit. When you put them back in, you'll push the core back in until they are flush (as they are now).

This will be easier to understand once you have them out and can see how they are reset for the re-install.

Hmm, I think I've got it. I'll give it a shot! Thanks!

Figured it out no problem. These new style of clips (not on the 94) aren't bad once you figure them out. Not knowing what they were like I broke one of them that holds the plastic around the wipers. lol
