Yeah the fluid looks burnt and the clip sounds like slipping clutches or tc bypassing?

I would get a tranny flush and fluid/filter done asap.

I totally can't believe this. :? :(

As said in PM, all work was done by ZZperformance off the standard build with a new Input Shaft and GM torque converter being put in.

I can't even really begin to guess what it could be, I do not know transmissions at all thus I paid so much for someone else to do it.

Grrr

The stock tranny took a TON of track passes and burnouts before It went.. if this one went out already after so little use ... Ugh.

To lighten the mood, I told ya that motor moves!!! :P

he does not trust driving it back to his shop which is 180 miles away...

he expects me to find a shop to put this in for me, and find the money all before it dies...

i need a realy tranny mechanic... can you guys get the word out please

Send a link to the video to zzp and let them know this is their transmission and it had limited use.

It doesn't hurt. I would still post it on clubgp in the general section, lotsa people with good knowledge there. THis doesn't make a lick of sense AT ALL. I'm at a loss. One of the bigger issues is that the 2000 year had specific tranny codes and the one in that car is the hardest to find hence I went with a rebuild instead of buying a used one.

Talk to zzp before you actually have any work done on it... though, it'* hard to get it out to Michigan.

This just blows. It'* not even my car anymore but I still feel horrible. I go through my mind trying to find anything I may have forgotten about that would make it my fault but I honestly can't think of anything. I just don't get how both parts of the drivetrain have failed in so short of a time.

speachless
