REar Air Shocks - Still Too High
Hi All,
Replaced rear shocks last month. They seem to running a bit high. About 2- 2.5 inches too high. Is there any write up on how to fix this problem? The gap between the fender and the tire is almost 5", when it should be about 3".
Is there some kind of adjustment that can be made to the level control link? Some kind of pressure setting at the compressor? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Joe

It may also help to unplug the switch that the leveler arm connects to and use a ohmmeter to see it the switch itself is ok and breaks contact when it should. They do go bad.

Did they move the location of the switch on the 00? If not it'* on the back left part of the car underneath. I have a picture somewhere.
OK, I found it. This is passanger side, underneath, just in front of the rear axle.
Another thing you can try is turn off radio and vent fan. Then turn the key to on but don't start it. You should hear the compressor running. Unless they moved it, it should be behind the right rear tire.
