Default NGK Oxygen sensor??

I know that delco is the preferred option but I was wondering what the opinions are of an NGK oxygen sensor. i am getting an NGK because my local auto parts store has them and I need the sensor immediately. I figured anything is better than bosch.

Thanks

No Good Krap ... just kidding. You are generally okay with AC Delco, Denso or NGK.

Buy a Denso, some of the best sensors around.

I replaced my O2 sensors about a year ago. I didn't know about the Bosch opinion at the time and of course, that'* what I bought at the local Auto Zone.

So, my question to the masses is... what in particular about Bosch is considered inferior? Longevity of service? Poor performance? Just wondering. I was thinking that I might go ahead and replace the upstream sensor since it'* the more critical of the two and leave the Bosch installed in the post cat position.

Comments?

mostly performance there not close enough to the factory specs. I have had in some cases not even good enough to get the ses light to go out.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll put in a Denso. I'm looking mainly for good fuel economy and I could envision a pre-cat that'* a bit sluggish on response causing a loss of MPG.

I put an autozone bosch in 50K miles ago. SES light is out and I get around 30 mpg highway (70mph). Not saying bosch is OK, just saying it worked for me. Heck, on the oil forums guys wont let a fram filter near their cars. Mine has had them and walmart bulk oil. But I've only got 200K miles and no sludge, so I don't know much...

I also have cheap Uniroyal Tiger Paws on it. 91K miles and aren't showing any unusual wear. They should go 110-120 if winter doesn't hit first.
