Serp belt size to bypass compressor?
Does anyone know the size of the belt to use if you want to bypass the compressor??? I am going to get a compressor locally but i was going to wait untill i did some other repairs first. This compressor is too nosiey to drive with. But i wanted to take care of some other problems on the car first. Thanks for any info.

Welcome to the Bonneville forum. Please put your cars year and trim level in your sig to help us help you better.
You can't simply use a shorter belt and skip the AC compressor. You would need to remove the compressor and install a bypass pulley.

Is it just the clutch that'* making noise? Does it go quite when you turn it on? If so, you may just need to adjust the clutch.
