Power Windows Operation
Power Windows
The vehicle is equipped with power windows controlled by the door modules. The DDM receives a window switch request, over the SBI serial data, from either the passenger door module wired to the window switch pressed or from the driver door switch assembly. The DDM checks the Class 2 serial data to see if the status information is correct (i.e. ignition switch position) to permit window operation.

If the status information to permit window operation is correct, the DDM sends the command to the door module controlling the window to move the window as requested.

Windows Power and Ground
The windows are powered by discreet power and ground circuits. These circuits are in the same dedicated connector as the window motor drive circuits.

You also need to check 10A fuse and 30A breaker in rear fuse block located Under the left side of the rear passenger compartment seat.

how about switches in the other doors? I have some schematics I can look at for you. I would send them to you but to many and would not be real clear for you. Are you sure breaker is,nt tripping as soon as power is supplied?

Does door ajar light function? Do heated seats work (if equipped)? Do automatic door locks function properly?

Each driver door module is powered from 4 seperate 10 amp fuses in rear fuse block and 1 30 amp breaker fo power windows. Assuming these are all fine I think you should make sure you have battery positive voltage at driver door switch. you will need to remove switch and connector test orange and black/white wire for battery voltage.

The signal to operate door hardware is sent through the "simple bus interface" the tan/white wire connected between driver door switch and DDM. SBI is then connected from DDM to other three door modules. This could vey well be the problem.

Be sure not to damage connector terminals if using multimeter probe
