Power Steering Leak
Noticed a spot under the front drivers side about 5" in diameter of power steering fluid. Looks like it originates from where the intermeditae shaft attaches to the rack. Noticed some hoses there but no leaks at the mount. Then they seem to travel under a heat shield to the power steering pump. Who has had this problem and or service? Hope its just a pressure hose.

there were all sorts of part numbers
26079289 for supercharged GM brand $123 ($71 on GMPD)
######## for N/A GM brand $###.##
89016389 for supercharged delco brand - $31 ($15 on GMPD)
the delco brand showed no difference between SC and NA for this part, while the GM brand did. can get away with using the $15 hose?

You are saying you have a leak at the rack-to-1/2 shaft output? .... and you are sure it is not leaking from the low and high pressure hose fittings on the rack itself?
