Possible sunroof problem?

Possible sunroof problem?
I recently bought my wife a 2000 SSEi, and I have a question about the sunroof. It seems to open and close OK, but when it'* fully closed, the back end of the glass sits about 3/16" below the surface of the roof. Is this normal, or does it have an alignment problem? What can I do about this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

That'* an alignment problem, but nothing to panic about. I've had mine apart to change the seal, and had to align it, but I don't know if the 2k is the same as the older ones. Anybody tackle the new ones yet?
On mine, there are 3 screws visible on the inside edges. These are the ones you want. I'd leave the forward screws tight as pivot points, loosen the middle screws, then lightly loosen the trailing (aft) screws and lower the sunroof. Check for alignment, then raise it, adjust the rear up, tighten, and check again. It'* actually pretty easy if it'* like mine.

Thanks, that helped some, but it didn't allow enough adjustment to bring it up to level. It seems like when the sunroof is closed from the retracted position, it goes up into the closed position and then drops back down a little before it stops. I'm able to position it properly by partially opening it into the up postion. I know that sounds about as clear as mud, but it'* the only way I can explain it.

I've resently fixed mine thinking it was the sunroof module but it is not, happend to be the motor limiter switch, the book explains how to synchronize the motor and the vertical tracks, my problem was that it will open automatically and it will keep on going and you'll hear the gears skiping and loud noise,,, so the limit switch that is mounted in the sunroof motor it'* damage cause it will not make the sunroof stop on the automatic oppening, which will require a new motor they don't sell the switch by it self, that'* how they make their money,,, Thiefs.
You will start by taking down the headliner or the cealing of the roof and the motor is in the middle of the back seats on the cealing.
Good luck.
