Rear Ended!!! Today
I was making a right hand turn into a shopping center when the guy behind me in a full sized Ford hit me from behind. He must have been doing about 30 to 35mph. No one was hurt just surprised. The good news is that it did virtually nothing to the Bonny. It pushed his bumber back into his passenger front tire so he could not drive, but all that is did as far as I can tell to the Bonneville is scuff the paint on the rear bumper facia. I looked underneath to see if anything was bent; nothing. I am sure I will need an alignment and to have my rear wheel bearings checked, but I drove the car home with no noticable after effects. I knew these cars were rated the highest in saftey with the insurance company'* now I know why.

It sucks that you got in an accident. But I can say a few things here:
1) I am glad nobody got hurt (health comes first, then obviously cars second, and anything else later)
2) I am glad that their was no major damage done to the bonnie, and there was some done to the Ford.
3) 2000 Bonneville bumpers are like friggin awesome, my mom backed out of the driveway and didn't see the '92 Olds 88 parked in the street and backed into it about 2 years ago. The whole fender broke and caved in on the Olds, and there are 4 or 5 little scratches on the bumper of the SSEi, luckily it only cost $200 to fix the Olds.
Anyways, at least you showed the ford not to hit people, because all that happens is they get damage and you dont!!!

Bonny SSEi Mods?
I noticed you're from RoundRock TX (I'm originally from San Antonio..but dad lives in New Braunfels and his g/f'* sister lives in round rock)
Just wondered if you did your own mods up to this point? I'm getting ready to get started and could use help from watching someone who knows how to do them do it..but I"m in Burbank CA..nobody out here...but I'll be out that way for Christmas with my 01 SSEi..I'll be driving down....thought maybe you could show me how you did your stuff?
Thanks,
Jason

Seriously though, I'm glad you're okay and the Bonnie is relatively unharmed.

I will hopefully be taking it in to be estimated soon. You know how insurance companies are. I will let everyone know what the damage is.
