Clunking Noise in Rear Suspension
I have done a search regarding a clunking noise from the rear suspension and thought I found the problem to be a top shock mount. I looked at the mount (drivers side) and it looks like new. I only have this problem when I sometimes go over RR tracks or when making a turn on a rough road. Most of the time the car rides great without any noise. I only have 75,000 miles on the car but I may have to get rid of it since in the last 2 weeks I have had both rear regulators and the oil sender go bad These are the first problems I have ever had in 8 years. Anyway is there something else I should be looking at that could be making this clunking noise before I invest in a new shock mount? :?:

Have the shocks and mounts already been replaced? It seems that many after-market mounts clunk. If the shocks themselves are worn, they can also start to make noise. Another thing to check is the alignment link as show in this thread.

The oil sender is cheap, and there'* a fix for the rear window regulators in techinfo that is virtually cost free.

Yes I have air suspension and there is no differance in ride height from side to side and the height is normal. As a reply to the comment about the Tech info on the window regulator, that repair may be fine if your cable are not twisted and frayed like mine. I sent them to Mirror Guard Co. as per this thread http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=97086 They installed new cables and plastic spool as well as made a similar repair as in the Tech info
