Air In Trunk?
I have an SSEI and inside the trunk is what looks like a button that says "air" on it. What is this for? I'm guessing I may have air suspension, but I'm not sure.

Its actually called an accessory inflator. There should be a hose you can hook up to it. The pervious owner may have taken it with them. If everything is there and works then when you hook it up press the bottom and air should go into your tire. The compressor maybe drop tho, what happens when you push the button?

Well I was with my brother who does auto body work and started to track it down we found it went to struts. The button never did anything till we got the bright idea to try to start the car then push the button. And like magic, the rear of the car started to raise up. It allowed us to raise and lower suspension 2 in.

the button is not the for suspension...
look on the other side of the trunk latch, as you see the schrader valve. the car orignally came with a hose that would allow you to fill the tires or other inflatables. YES if you do hit the air then the rear end will lift up
the ELC or electronic level controll is fully automatic and self contained

The rear raises up because on newer models, hitting the "Air" button causes the ELC switch uses the rear air shocks as air reservoirs. Air tanks on the fly, so to speak. Once the timer shuts the compressor down, the rear air shock will return to their position set by the ride height adjustment switch.

OK, so if I push the Air button then I can air up tires and inflatable tubes and such? Wow, that is awesome! There was a mention of there being a hose, I don't seem to have one, do you know how to get one?

You mean this. I don't think It had ever been opened. It has a flashlight, ice scraper, poncho, air hose with nozzles, a chemstick, and a first aid kit. I'm gonna take it all out tonight to see if there is anything else.
