Guess she'* not going down without a fight?

I'm thinking the gasket on the sender assembly may have gotten torn during the install and gotten someplace it wasn't supposed to be. Also looks like it WAS leaking externally.

Not leaking now, also seemed to hold a steady 60lbs for the 15 minutes I had it running. Let it get up to temp, took if for a few loops around the parking lot. Sounds like 99% of the noise is gone, still may not be 100% though.

Tomorrow I will take it out around town a bit, see how it does. It only lasted just over 10 minutes last time, so we will see how this goes.

Like I said, I think the gasket might have torn during the install, probably when finaggling that top bolt that JUST fits in if you get the sender housing in the right position. Not sure what all took place after that but it caused oil to leak externally and nothing to flow.

Drove it to aurora last night, 45 minutes with no issues.

Yep, it was cold so I watched it pour out with a flashlight, no metal shavings I could see, looked nice and clean.

Yep, while out searching for something to replace the Bonneville, I ended up realizing how great of a car it really is.
