Default New Bonneville ruined

Look at this Bonny. Brand new. You can see the damage in the interior and under the hood. Look at the rusted clips on the air cleaner and etc. I wonder how reliable this car would ever be..??

i bet it has a broken rear window regulator. I dont know why you would have just one window down when it is below 32 degrees, since there is snow.

Saw that, figured it stunk inside and trying to air it out.

Note the radiator without the cap!

Looking at the pictures of the interior, in particular the seats and seatbelts, it would appear as if the water level went at least as high as half way up the seats. I would think that at the very least, the carpetting and padding would need to be replaced. Who knows what may be lurking and growing in the vents. As it won't run due to a bad ECM, the water must have at least reached the level of the airbox. How long was it under water? Is the ECM the only reason it doesn't run? What other electronics got destroyed in the process? Is the crank full of water? The tranny? I'd be nervous paying the $4,550 current bid for it, which does not meet the reserve price considering the potential unknown problems.

I am sure whomever buys it will hopefully just part it out. That'* all it'* worth.. I really don't understand why the radiator is missing the cap and etc. Seems like water couldn't get in there. Must be real damage in the engine and etc.

Oh well. it'* junk..

A regulator is the power window motor assembly. They are very prone to failure on newer Bonnevilles.
