Default Need for Speed

I own a '00 SSEi, and have never maxed it out. What are they usually chipped at. Also I am looking for some good tips for increasing horses/speed. Any performance chips recommended? Any other good stuff I can slap in there? I'm new to the whole mod thing, and quite honestly don't know squat. Help, oh Bonne Masters!

You're limited to 128mph. Some chips will lift this, some won't. www.angryducktofuracing.com will have some chip options. I'm running a Jet right now. Love it to death. You'll wanna do intake and exhaust first, though. Up in Techinfo is an article that will guide you through the popular 'first mods'.

Welcome!

Does the intake/exhaust work burn the wallet?

Depends on what you want.....and if you can do most of the work yourself ..and it helps to have friends who own shops But it can cost a fair bit of $$$$$

www.domesticperformance.com has an intake for your car, and www.angryducktofuracing.com will soon have an exhaust for your car. It'* in development.

If you choose, you could do both yourself, but for the price, I don't think you can beat these two. Both are resident vendors and Bonneville owners.
