Blue Smoke?
I have a 2000 SSEi with 225000 miles and just took a 600 mile trip up north, I havent noticed until now that I have been burning off coolant and about 1 quart or oil every 6000 miles. What do I need to replace to fix this besides my leaky intake gasket?

Sounds like your LIM gaskets. That should be all you need.
I assume you have a L67, if so this is what you will need.

@ 225,000 I'm surprised it'* only a quart every 6000 miles. You actually run the car 6000 miles between oil changes???

Rings in these motors are a low pressure and usually don't wear out. Anything is possible though. Not sure how a rear main seal can cause blue smoke out the exhaust when it'* external to the combustion chamber. (Jon, please help with this one)
A compression test or leakdown test is probably in order to determine if the rings are no longer sealing well.or if there is another problem somewhere else in the engine.

If the smoke is only at start up and then clears up it'* valve guides. If it smokes all the time and could be the rings, but as Bill said, Possible, but unlikely. A compression test will determine this. I still say LIM seeing as your loosing coolant and oil. Pull plugs and look for fowling. Possible head gasket.

the rear main seal for the loss of oil was my guess but both of mine we're slightly unlikely(rings/seal). fwiw 1 qt of oil every 6k miles at that mileage isn't that horrible. i'd be much more worried about the coolant than a little oil gone missing. let us know what you find.

Back in the day wasn't the rule of thumb 1 quart to 3k miles is not a bad deal at all. I'd say valve guides more than likely.
If you are seeing blue smoke on start up, is there any indication of the thing not running real well? Just on start up I mean. Could be a bad fpr and I think this can be a source of flooding which can cause the smoke.
