clearing headlights
i know, i know.....everybody preaches techinfo (http://bonnevilleclub.com/techinfo/?article=67), but i'm still a little hesitant to clear my headlights on my 2001. Has anybody had any negative side affects (cracked lense, condensation, etc)....or can anybody offer up any tips? I just know that I did my corners pretty half assed on my old 94, and don't feel like forkin' over the extra $$$ to replace something that wasn't "broken" in the first place.

The 2k+ are easy to do really, there are several clips that fasten around the head light and pull off with a pair of pliers. Next you need to break the caulking seal around the head light, I used an excto knife but others will do. Once thats complete start by working one corner open then the whole unit will seperate.
I assembled mine with auto silicone and they havent fogged up me on almost 2 years.

I would say it'* a easy mod that will make a big different.
Would advise 2 wear eye protection when removing the claps.
& be careful with the plastic edge It can crack & then the claps wont
stay.
Had problem with fogging at first due to resealing in doors then when
outside it was cooler. So I opened & resealed outside & no problem since.
DO IT!
