Default '04-05 GXP Wheels / Replacement Parts

Anybody have any pics or opinions on how the 04-05 GXP wheels would look on a 2000+ Silver SSEi?

Just had the intermediate shaft replaced, Magnasteer firmed up, rear valve cover gasket replaced (could smell oil after some extended trips), and switched to Mobil 1. Windows tinted at 15% w/ Johnson reflective. Just wanted some opinions or if anybody has any pics.

I recently found some of these with almost new tires and was a day late and dollar short I guess you would say. I keep looking around. If anybody knows of a source please let me know.

In other news P&G Chevrolet had an excellent price on the intermediate shaft for DIY'ers I paid $89.48 for the revised shaft and 8.34 for the valve cover gasket. GM covered the labor cost after I called about the 'greasing doesn't work' and complained this shaft had done this since the car was almost new. The contact there is Bill Markivich (no affiliation just trying to save people some $$$)

I believe the guy with the SN "loong" has a set that are identical to the prototype GXP rims, which are still extremely close to production. He got a really good deal too.
You might check with him about his supplier, and the maker of the rims. His car is a 1994 SLE so he won't have pics.
Needless to say though, your car would look kick-bu** with these wheels (245/45/18 tires needed to match stock 235/55/17 diameter tires).

P.*. And if you do get a set you will have to show everyone how sweet it looks. And if you do get these rims what are you doing with your stockers?

Default Price on GXP Wheels

I located a set of the GXP Wheels in excellent condition with tires. Car they were removed from had 32 miles on it. I have the guy down to $1050. Sound like a deal? Somebody chime in and give me some guidance on this one.

Thanks!
Cale

$1050 is a steal, especially if they come with the tires. So what are the plans for the stockers?
I have 18" Primes (from a 2002 Chrysler 300M Special), but I need tires for them too.

Default GXP Wheels

I thought it was a really good deal personally. Especially with almost no miles - Come with the factory Goodyear RSA'* in like new condition as well as center caps (They better not be out of round or I will be PO'd ) I sent them the payment about 12 today considering i really wanted them. Going to cost me about another 90 bucks for lug nuts and the stainless caps from an internet dealer. The factory lugs don't have threads on the outside to accomodate the caps.

Not sure on the factory wheels yet. They are all in great shape, with Michelin MXV4 Plus tires that only have a couple thousand miles on them (highway miles and have 95-97%% of their tread left with no sign of wear). My mom put these on it this summer then bought her the STS and from there I took over I think she paid about $750 for those mounted and balanced at the dealershaft.

I still like chrome a lot, don't get me wrong. I put 18" chrome Z06 wheels on my Ram Air and they look great. But the Bonneville to me looks awesome with those 18" 5 stars. Its a combination of them being larger, with a lower profile tire and that 'luxury sport' look to them. Thin spoke wheels just set it off (and easy to clean inside the wheel ). Her Caddy has thin spokes on it and its just That car is just awesome period..

Default GXP Wheels on the SSEi

I finally got them and put them on the car, it does look awesome if I do say so myself - I gave it a good wash job the morning of this pic. Yes I do live out in the boonies and thats the mountains you see in the background.

I was very pleased - I like the tint that I chose for it as well, sorry about all the glare from that angle I'll take some more pics over the weekend with my g/f'* camera - Mine is prehistoric. Now time for a few go fast goodies -

BEEEEEEEEEEEAUUUTIFUL!!!!!! That car is HAWT if I may say so. Those wheels should have been on the car back when it was on the showroom floor. Now just get the front bumper from the GXP with the projector fog lamps and that car will have the looks to kill.
Glad to see you got them and are satisfied. BTW- I called the place you bought the wheels from to see if I could get the GXP shift ****, door sill plates and/or the gas and brake pedals and they said the shift **** sells with the console, but the rest of the car was crushed.

that car is nice with thoes wheels on. I have ALWAYS liked the look of a bonne with 5 spokers on. I wish that thoes would have come standard on the SSEi
