Metallic grinding noise when starting car?
So the past two weeks or so, every time I turn the key to start my car, my engine makes a metallic shrieking noise that last literally 1 second, and goes away. This happens every time I start the car. However, it is usually louder on a cold start.
I believe the sound is coming from the left side of the engine (near the supercharger pulley), but I can't say for sure.
I've read it could be belts slipping, the starter grinding on the flywheel. Does anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like the starter/flywheel, like the starter and flexplate angle is wrong. I would pull the inspection cover at the bottom of the engine and see what you can see.
