Memory Settings for 2000 SSEi
Alright I don't think I am a complete idiot but for the life of me I can't figure out these memory seats. Everytime the car starts it starts out on memory setting 2. I use memory setting 1 and the fiance uses two. Also the locks are different on my settings as in they don't lock everytime you put the car in drive. And the radio stations are completely different. My question is, how do I get the car to always start out in Memory 1 settings??

The horn sounding when the doors are locked is one of the settings. I personally hate that, so shut it off on mine, and just go with the lights flashing.

I have noticed that it will also depend on if it was programmed right at the factory or dealer. Sometimes they program it wrong. My Denali did that.

You have to set up the DIC Personal Initialization programming using the applicable key fob.
It can be changed anytime the vehicle is stopped with key on.
When that key is used to open the doors lock or unlock, it will trigger all the settings so it'* ready for you before you even put the key in the ignition.
My wife always changes mine when she opens the doors with her fob and then I get in to drive with mine...........I'm #2 and she is #1.
